RALEIGH HILLS LITTLE LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers ALWAYS Needed

Raleigh Hills Little League is a non-profit, parent-run, volunteer organization established in 1957 to provide baseball and softball programs for boys and girls in our neighborhood. All the league activities are planned and performed by parent-volunteers. This includes organizing teams, securing fields, buying uniforms, training umpires, scheduling over 600 games, coordinating with neighbor leagues, maintaining this website, paying the bills, .... and of course, managing and coaching all the players for a season. All together this work requires nearly 100 volunteers each season.

The attached handout has brief job descriptions for the many volunteer positions. There are about 25 non-coaching positions requiring a variety of skills: word processing, spreadsheet work, handling uniforms, fieldwork, working with the fundraiser program, working with the sponsors program, Alpenrose concessions work, and so on.
